Focus on Small Business, Episode 8
For this week’s Focus on Small Business, we are highlighting Sugar Jam! Located on the east side of the Scottsdale Airpark on Redfield Rd, they offer breakfast, brunch and lunch Tuesday through Sunday. Sugar Jam was started by Dana Dumas, who has had a passion for baking going back to 2002. She opened Sugar Jam in 2011 after relocating to Scottsdale by way of New Jersey. We recently stopped in and got the Big Bacon & Egg Croissant (available weekday mornings and weekend brunch) for a late breakfast. It was amazing, as big as the name indicates, and that croissant was oh-so flakey. We also had to pick up some muffins and pastries for the rest of the Bolste team, which they loved.
They have a great BBQ lunch menu, not to mention their cupcakes, brownies and bars, cookies and whole pies. They cater (something we are keeping in mind for our team), have a trailer they can bring their delectable food to your event or you can rent out their bistro if you want to go to them.
