Bolste Announces Leadership Transition
Bolste, Inc. today announced that company founder Leif Hartwig, has stepped down from his position as chief executive officer.
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., October 24, 2017 — Bolste, Inc. today announced that company founder Leif Hartwig, has stepped down from his position as chief executive officer, but will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors. The Company appreciates Mr. Hartwig’s contributions to its growth and development and wishes him luck in his future endeavors. “I am very proud of the work we have accomplished together, and am confident the company will grow and achieve great success,” said Leif Hartwig.
Current Board member Kenneth Waters will serve in the role of Interim CEO until a permanent successor has been named. The Company has initiated the search for a new CEO with software as a service (SaaS) experience.
Mr. Waters is the former president of MicroAge Corporation, where he grew the company from $1.0 Billion to $3.0 Billion in revenues during a period of two years. At the time, the company was the largest public company to be headquartered in Arizona. Previously, he served as president of PowerUp Software. Mr. Waters was also COO, president and CEO of ComputerLand Corporation, leading the growth of the company to become the world’s largest retail computer company, with over $3.0 Billion in world-wide sales in 36 countries, and over 800 stores worldwide.
Along with Mr. Waters, the senior leadership team will continue to execute the company’s strategic plan. “I am honored to assume the Interim CEO role.
